Employer Relations

Wake Forest Employer Relations exists to facilitate connections between organizations seeking talent and students seeking opportunity.  We pursue, develop, and strengthen existing and new relationships with employers, alumni and parents, with the ultimate goal of every Wake Forest student finding meaningful career opportunities.

Employer Relations

We want your interaction with Wake Forest University to be excellent when recruiting on campus. When you commit to recruiting Wake Forest students, you will be assigned an account manager to work with you.  For clarity of responsibilities, please review our policies below.

  • Information Sessions

Information events allow employers to have interaction with students and promote their organizations and positions. Your account manager will schedule your information events, reserve facilities and parking, promote your event to students, advise on branding your organization, and monitor your RSVPs.
  • A coordinator or student assistant will be on hand to assist you with setting up your event. Placing your presentation on a thumb drive will facilitate setup.
  • Event refreshments are at the discretion of the organization. You can order refreshments at https://wfu.catertrax.com/index.asp.
  • Our internal caterer will clean up the facility post event. However, if you choose to use an external source or bring your own food and drinks, please let your account manager know as additional waste receptacles will need to be ordered for the room. All food will need to be removed at the close of the event.
  • Interviews

Arranging interviews through Wake Forest University Employer Relations is an easy way to connect with selected students. Organizations benefit from conducting their first-round interviews in partnership with Employer Relations because they are able to interview many students in a short time span. In addition, Employer Relations also increases the visibility and presence for your organization on campus and demonstrates your organization's commitment to hiring Wake Forest University students. Your account manager will consult with you on your hiring needs, schedule your interview date(s), reserve facilities and parking, promote your event to students, advise on branding your organization, monitor your selection timeline / applications, and assist you with developing your interview day (slots and breaks).
  • Your account manager cannot screen applicants on behalf of your organization (GPA, work authorization, etc...) or comment on those students deemed "not fully qualified" by the Handshake System. Recruiters should consult with their own legal counsel and HR department on candidate screening procedures for their organization.
  • Students require time to make class arrangements and prepare for their interview with you. Please make your pre-selections not later than 7 to 10 business days prior to the date of the interview.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
